About EGOfitness

My experience all started in High School. Me being the captain of my HS football team I enjoyed encouraging my teammates and helping them get better. After my academic sports career I went on to teach martial arts in serval different schools and in a community center. I found that teaching and guide people to get in better health was very satisfying but not as much as helping someone on a personal level. This is where I found myself pursuing my career as a personal trainer. I worked in New York sports club and in Equinox where is gained plenty of experience working with clients of all sorts of health backgrounds. Equinox was where my career as a personal trainer was propelled to the next level. The amount of education that they provided equipped me to become confident and successful in my career. Now I am an independent trainer still pushing myself further so that I can be the best fitness professional that I can be.

My education:
I attended the University at Buffalo where I achieved a BA in Psychology. I believe being a Psychology major definitely helps when training many clients. I'm able to handle many personalities which I think is essential in this field because not everyone is the same. Not physically nor mentally. A personal trainer has to develop individualized fitness programs for each client but it is also important to considered their mental health as well. When I develop a program I make sure that their physical goals closely corresponds to their mental fitness.
I am NASM certified (National Academy of Sports Medicine), Kettlebell certified, Precision Nutrition certified and Pre and Post natal certified.

I place a lot of attention on movement which I think is key to becoming healthier. I develop programs that are well rounded in bodyweight exercises and weight training. I provided a meal prepping program for healthy eating. I also provide programs for people who travel often for work. I do online sessions for those individuals prefer to train online.

I am a blogger as well. I blog about exercises, motivational stories, my experiences, tips and health hacks and Nutrition.
