I have a wealth of experience in the health and physical sciences as a: (1) high school Physical Education and Health teacher, (2) coach of both girl's and boy's high school sports, and (3) head life guard at a community pool. These experiences led me to realize my passion for personal training and to recently pursue my certification as an International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) fitness trainer.
I am qualified for training because I am passionate about sound, safe instructional training that helps people progress to their desired potential, and improves their lifestyles and love of health and fitness. I am ready to build on the skills from my early career to take on the responsibilities of a personal trainer. Through ISSA, I have been educated in Target Periodization Training principles and look forward to building a client base of people ready to transform their lives. As a teacher, I am knowledgeable about the teaching-learning theories of assessment, goal setting, individualized program development and delivery, follow-up, and re-assessment. As a coach, I have motivated and inspired players to get positive results. As a head lifeguard, I have polished my customer service skills at our community pool servicing hundreds of patrons daily. I am flexible, hospitable, positive, easy to work with, and a role model of good character, physical health and fitness. I am very excited about a dynamic work environment and willing to learn and improve my skills.
