About Be Fit Personal Trainers
Some time ago, I became discontented with the marketing position I held. Since my early 20's I had considered fitness a mainstay in my life and continuously worked at keeping myself fit and healthy. I have completed 5 marathons and still run nearly 50 miles/week, cycle for fun and fitness and strength train. Assessing where I wanted to be 10-20 years from now, I knew that working at a desk was not the answer. I knew I could really make a positive difference in people's lives...to share the passion that I have for exercise and fitness with others.
I became an ACE (American Council on Exercise) certified personal trainer and haven't looked back since. I have dedicated myself to improving the lives of Baltimore-area residents. I take the time to make the workouts fun, challenging, and a bit different each time. I am also an ACE certified Lifestyle and Weight Management Coach and am approved to work with AARP members through their affiliation with ACE. ACE is the largest nonprofit fitness certification, education and training organization in the world with nearly 50,000 certified professionals who hold more than 55,000 ACE certifications. With a long heritage in certification, education, training and public outreach, it is one of the most respected fitness organizations in the industry and a resource consumers have come to trust for health and fitness education. An important part of any responsible training program, a fitness assessment objectively measures your current level of physical fitness. Without an effective fitness baseline, growth cannot be accurately measured. Jennifer's fitness assessment incorporates many different methods to achieve accurate results.
The Fitness assessment measures:

Jen will guide you through a program that will develop strength and increase endurance. She ensures that workouts don't get repetitive or boring. She will work with you to achieve maximum results. We will combine weights, cardio, and nutrition to give you optimum results.
An important part of the process is tracking results. To maximize your progress, we need to continually monitor and adjust your program. This cannot be done effectively without proper monitoring and ongoing assessments. We can continually tailor your program so that you are getting what you need to achieve your goals. As milestones are met, goals are reassessed.
Together we will develop a plan for healthy eating. We will determine the vitamins and minerals that are required for your optimum health. I will guide you through the process and help you get through hurdles along the way.
