    Want to get fit now? You have come to the right place! I am a certified personal trainer and certified cycle instructor serving Marin county, California. In the words of the great basketball legend, John Wooden, “Don’t let what you can’t do interfere with what you can do.” Throughout our lives we are faced with injuries and illnesses, minor or major, physical or mental, and by adopting a healthy, active lifestyle we can overcome any hurdle that comes our way. Studies have shown that regular exercise (150 minutes of low to moderate physical activity per week or 75 minutes of high intensity physical activity per week) increases an individual’s physical and mental strength.

    With my B.A. degree in Psychology from the University of Southern California, I am skilled in understanding your diverse needs and empathizing with you as you diligently adhere to an exercise program designed for your specific goals. Each exercise session I plan will be FUN for you as we focus on the process involved with reaching your fitness goals while never losing sight of the end result. It is the reward that we receive from our smaller short-term goals that enable us to accomplish our larger long-term goals.

    I will improve your athletic performance and, with my background in occupational therapy, I will enhance your functional performance outside of the gym setting as well. Research indicates that physical and mental impairments greatly limit one or more activities of daily living (ADLs) in at least 25% of individuals diagnosed with a chronic health condition. Depending on your current health condition, we will work together to develop a customized exercise program to strengthen your weak areas and help relieve your aches and pains.
