I am the owner and founder of the Self-Care Coach; I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Coach. I provide education and training to assist clients in reaching their health and fitness goals, and guidance to overcome their obstacles that they may encounter along the way to ensure clients are successful in reaching their health and fitness goals. In addition, I help clients successfully develop tools to make healthier choices daily and gain sustainable health and fitness results in the process. I work with clients to develop a comprehensive program that is customized for each client's individual goals, their health, lifestyle, work and preferences rather than a one size fits all solution.
Using an integrated approach that combines coaching and personal training, I empower clients to develop a fit lifestyle as well as the ability and self-confidence to maintain a level of regular physical activity sufficient to increase physical, mental, and emotional energy, manage weight and stress, prevent or treat health risks and medical conditions and improve self-image and self-esteem.
Drawing on both professional and life experience, I understand the challenges that my clients face and work closely with them to help navigate the challenging times to ensure clients reach their goals. I fill a need for accountability and support for people who have struggled on their own; I am my clients partner in heath and fitness that can be counted on when needed. I provide continuous support, 24/7 via email or by phone.
I am a board Certified Personal Trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, NASM-CPT and received extensive training through the Wellcoaches Corporation, the American College of Sports Medicine, ACSM a licensed Fitness Coaching program. In addition, I have received education and training through IDEA Health & Fitness Association conferences, and continuing education through various course work and classes that covered a wide range of different training methods and approaches.
I have more than 15 years combined experience both professionally and personally in the field of holistic health, nutrition and exercise as well as being a fitness enthusiast. My professional experience expands to working for some of the leading corporate gyms where I obtained extensive experience working with individuals of all ages and gender with a wide variety of limitations and abilities as well as providing Personal Training and Fitness Coaching services to clients homes and offices and private training facilities.
