My name is Rich Kevan. I have been giving private fitness sessions in Sacramento for the past 6 months. Prior to that I was a member of the US Army for 12 years and a competitive athlete before that. My coaching is based on the principles I learned from my instructors, role models, and education. I incorporate drills, routines, and protocols customized to the individual clients needs and wants. I enjoy working with people of all ages and levels, but I especially enjoy the challenge of working with athletes, because they present a specific need and set of challenges. My specialties include functional movement, performance enhancement, corrective exercise, nutrition, and developing mental toughness. I focus on teaching how and why to use a exercise or program based on the clients’s needs and wishes. I start my sessions with a dynamic warm up, individually engineered program, conditioning, functional movement. When my client is ready, I’ll sit down to help them revaluate goals and their program. After each session, I want my client to feel liked they walked away closer to their goal and more knowledgable on how we are getting there.
