    In 1992, I founded and managed a karate and fitness studio, which offered calisthenics, private and group defense instruction, seminars and special defense clinics for different organizations (i.e. Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America, etc...). In 2000, I focused more on training others with weights in addition to the body weight exercises from the Martial arts. Being self taught, in 2004 I became an official certified trainer. I was hired at the YMCA in La Canada, CA soon after. I dedicated myself as a trainer and nutritionist full time. At the YMCA, I provided quality personal training on a one-on-one basis. I also developed and
    implemented Y nutrition 101. This was a nutritional program to help members see the results they're striving for through proper eating. I also held nutrition lectures titled the same - Y nutrition 101. Due to my expertise, in 2005, I was hired by The Sports Club/LA in Beverly Hills. There, I was a Master Trainer and Nutritionists. I have worked with various clients from celebrities to athletes. I have been featured on The KTLA morning show, "Debunking Workout Myths" and have contributed health and fitness content to fellow trainers for interviews and articles.
    I have advanced credentials from both the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the International Sports Science Association (ISSA).
    From ISSA I am a Fitness Trainer and Specialist in Performance Nutrition and from NASM I am a Personal Trainer, Performance Enhancement Specialist and a Corrective Exercise Specialist.
    I have earned a BS degree in Physical Education from Novus University.
