2. How do I receive clients?
Clients are delivered by e-mail as soon as they've been sold your Personal Training service. Generally, we will contact you by phone to make sure that you are available to take on the new client.

3. Am I guaranteed a certain amount of business?
Like any other form of advertising, FindMyTrainer does not guarantee you any specific number of clients.
What FindMyTrainer does guarantee you is that we will send as many clients as we sell your way if they match your training type, gender, and area.

4. How do I know that clients are going to use your online lead service?
We are a trusted resource for customers. FindMyTrainer guarantees clients that they will be matched with reliable, professional, certified personal trainers. Each FindMyTrainer trainer must adhere to your highest standards and all claims of certification and/or insurance are verified to ensure quality for our clients.
Clients prefer FindMyTrainer because we do all the work in making sure that trainers are legit. Our client’s time is valuable so we spend our time screening the trainers ensuring that only the highest quality professionals are provided to them.

6. How do you generate clients?
We use several methods to generate our clients. The primary way is through our online service. Our technology allows clients who are looking to begin an exercise program to find our web site and complete an online form requesting a personal trainer. We also have relationships with major online and newspaper classifieds which gives us nationwide coverage . We contact each client who fills out a trainer request form directly to confirm the details of their request, gather any other relevant information, and get confirmation that they are prepared to pay $60 and up for sessions.

7. How do I sign up?
If you are interested in becoming a FindMyTrainer personal trainer, reading the provided information is the first step in joining our team. You must provide proof of Personal Trainer Liability Insurance of at least 1 million dollars per claim, current and valid Personal Trainer Certification, and current and valid CPR certification, our signed personal trainer agreement (accessible once you create an account). Fax or scan and email these materials to 858.430.3493 or admin@findmytrainer.com. We will need all of this information before we can fully process your application. Once we receive this information and have a potential client will conduct a mandatory phone interview with you to ensure that your experience, knowledge, and education are up to the standards that we promise and guarantee our clients.

8. Does FindMyTrainer supply weight and training supplied?
We do not provide equipment. We have a minimum amount of equipment that is required before we can release clients to you. We have partnered with (Supply Company) to get you these supplies:
List of Weights:
• 5, 10, 15, 20 pound dumbbells
List of Bands:
• Light, Medium, Heavy Band
Stability Ball:
• 65 cm ball
List of other items:
• At least one balance devise (bosu, airex, dyna discs, exercise wheel)
All above mentioned equipment is required. Any additional equipment is optional, though we do encourage our trainers to have a wide variety of equipment available to use with clients.

9. How much money do I make per client?
We do a 60/40 split with all training packages. You will receive 60% of total cost of the sessions. If the client re-signs for a new package, your split is increased to 65%, for the third, 70%. After the third renewal the client is 100% yours! We offer 15 and 30 session packages to our clients.

10. When do I get paid for training clients?
You are paid every two weeks for sessions completed during that period. When you complete a session, the client must sign the client log for that date. Client logs must be faxed back to FindMyTrainer on the 15th, and last day of every month. You will receive payment at 60% total cost of all sessions completed during this time. A client signature is required as proof of services rendered. You will receive payment no later than the 10th and 25th of each month via check to your listed address, or direct deposit into your checking account. FindMyTrainer does not withhold any taxes, therefore you will be responsible for paying the required taxes on your income.

11. What if my insurance or certification expires?
Current Personal Trainer Certification and Personal Trainer Insurance are required for a personal training position with FindMyTrainer. We will keep your renewal dates on file and if they should lapse, you are responsible for getting us your current renewal information. If we are not provided with this information, the client will be transferred to another trainer, and payment to you will only be made for sessions completed while under current certification.

12. Where will I train clients?
We suggest that you do not take an area larger than a 20 mile radius. Clients will specify where they want to be trained and, if available, you will train them at their desired location. Just as in any other training facility, punctuality is a requirement. Tardiness is not acceptable. Join the Personal Trainer Network

13. When do I train clients?
We are always signing new clients and if you match the client and you are available we will assign the client to you. At that point you must contact the client and schedule your first session with them. You will be making a “commitment” to have the requested times open for the client. The client may change the time at which they want to be trained.

14. When is the bi-weekly client log due?
It is due by the 15th and last day of the month. You will receive a client log every time we assign a new client to you.

15. How will I know when a client cancels?
The client will contact you by the best number provider and send you an email of the cancellation. We require 24 hours notice of cancellation for all personal training appointments. It is your responsibility to reschedule the session with your current calendar availabilities. If the client does not give 24 hours notice of cancellation then the session is billable. If you cancel and do not give the client
24 hours notice you are billable and required to make up the session for free with the client.

16. What happens if I cannot form a good relationship with my client?
Client rapport is extremely important in the personal training industry. FindMyTrainer wants to provide our clients with complete satisfaction with their training and their trainer. We make courtesy calls to all our client bi-weekly for the first month and then monthly from then on out. We perform these courtesy calls to ensure that the client is satisfied with their trainer as well as their training. If the client is not satisfied with their current trainer, a new trainer will be assigned to them. You will be paid for all sessions completed up until that point and we will do our best to place you with a new client.

18. Do I have to offer partner training??
We allow you to choose whether or not you would like to offer partner training. In the trainer admin when adding your area, just choose "No" when asked if you would like to participate in our partner training.

19. What if I have a fitness facility - but don't offer in home personal training??
We work with home, outdoor, and facilities to increase their client base. Although we focus on in home, we welcome gyms, studios, and fitness centers in joining our personal trainer network. Once you create your area in the trainer admin you just select facility as where you would like to train clients.
