About:
I provide one-on-one and small group personal training services. I use a variety of methods to help my clients achieve their goals. The methods I use depend on what my clients specific goals are. I like to use circuit and interval training primarily when the goal general fitness or weight loss.I like applying crossfit principles and using kettlebells primarily. I've been a personal trainer for over 7 years. I was a swim coach for 8 years prior to that. I have worked with kids and teens as both a coach and personal trainer. Currently I've been working primarily with adults around my own age (30's and 40's)on losing weight and making physical activity a regular part of life. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from San Francisco State University in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology. I am currently working on my Master's degree in Exercise Physiology. I am also an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)Certified Personal Trainer. I have certifications from the American Council on Exercise in both flexibility and Matt Pilates.
